Work Experience.

KTP Associate. I am working as researcher for the Edinburgh Napier University in close cooperation with RTC Timber Systems, Scotland. Improvements in the design, manufacture process, construction and implementation of the awarded PassiveWall™ system.

Timber Researcher. I worked as researcher for the University of Canterbury, New Zealand in the department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering. Being part of the timber team, I was involved in a £5 Million project invested in the development of Multi-Storey timber buildings using post-tensioning joints.  My main task was the design of a timber frame Hotel and its optimization in cost, erection time and constructibility. June 2009 - March 2010.

R&D Timber Engineer. I worked in an international form-works company based in Barcelona called Encofrados Alsina.. I was in charge of the timber related products as plywood panels, HT beams and solid wood panels, having the duties of product manager, R&D engineer and purchase manager. I developed a waterproof coating system licensed as utility model.  Technical support to sales team. Purchase manager for a value of £4m. 2006 – 2009.

Process control and wood yard control. I was doing six weeks internship in UPM-Kymmene Eesti, Estonia. My main tasks were controlling the process quality and the quality of the logs at reception. 2005.
